Prior to the start of our 2023-24 season, we will send out an email inviting you to an informational meeting to introduce ourselves, our goals for the program, our policies, additional fees and to answer any questions you may have.

Clarendon Hills Park District
Tuesdays, Ages 4-6, 5:00-6:00pm
Tuesdays, Ages 7-10, 7:30-8:30pm

Code of Conduct

  • Respect & Sportsmanship

    Treat all coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials with respect and courtesy.

    Display good sportsmanship at all times, both on and off the field.

    Avoid engaging in any form of bullying, taunting, or verbal abuse.

  • Health & Safety

    Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by coaches and program administrators.

    Take care of personal health and well-being by maintaining proper nutrition, hydration, and fitness levels.

    Report any injuries or medical conditions to the coach or program staff promptly.

  • Attendance & Punctuality

    Attend all practices, games, competitions, and team events unless there is a valid reason for absence.

    Arrive on time for all scheduled activities and be prepared with appropriate attire and equipment.

  • Commitment & Dedication

    Demonstrate a strong work ethic, discipline, and commitment to improving cheerleading skills.

    Practice regularly, both individually and as a team, to enhance performance and teamwork.

  • Dress Code & Uniforms

    Wear the designated cheerleading uniform or attire as instructed by the program.

    Maintain a neat and clean appearance while representing the program.

  • Responsible Use of Social Media

    Exercise caution and responsibility when using social media platforms.

    Refrain from posting or sharing inappropriate or offensive content related to the program or its members.

  • Parent/Guardian Conduct

    Parents/guardians should encourage positive behavior and support their child's participation without excessive pressure.

    Respect the authority and decisions of the coaching staff and program administrators.

  • Confidentiality

    Maintain the confidentiality of any team strategies, game plans, or sensitive information shared within the program.

  • Accountability

    Take responsibility for your actions and accept constructive criticism from coaches and teammates.

    Strive for personal growth and development by learning from mistakes.

  • Adherence to Program Policies

    Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all program policies, rules, and regulations.

    Report any concerns or violations of the code of conduct to the appropriate program authorities.

  • Our code of conduct is designed to promote a positive and respectful environment for all participants in the youth cheerleading program. It sets the expectations for behavior and serves as a guideline for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
